DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO CARLING LAKE RESORT

 

From TORONTO / KINGSTON, Ontario (5 to 6 hours)

Take Autoroute 401 East to Exit 814.  Take Highway 34 North to Hawkesbury.  At Main Street, continue straight through onto Du Chenail Blvd. which leads you onto the bridge across the river to Quebec.  Once across the bridge, continue straight through until you meet Autoroute 50.  Take Autoroute 50 East to Exit 252 (Brownsburg/Chatham).  Exit and turn left onto Montee La Branche.  Continue to the town of Brownsburg.  At the stop sign in Brownsburg continue straight through onto Route 327 North.  Pass through the village of Pine Hill and the Carling Lake Resort is approximately 4 km farther on the right.
 

From OTTAWA, Ontario
(90 minutes)

Take Autoroute 417 East towards Montreal.  Take Exit 27 and turn left onto Highway 34 North.  Continue through Vankleek Hill to Hawkesbury. At Main Street, continue straight through onto Du Chenail Blvd. which leads you onto the bridge across the river to Quebec.  Once across the bridge, continue straight through until you meet Autoroute 50.  Take Autoroute 50 East to Exit 252 (Brownsburg/Chatham).  Exit and turn left onto Montee La Branche.  Continue to the town of Brownsburg.  At the stop sign in Brownsburg continue straight through onto Route 327 North.  Pass through the village of Pine Hill and the Carling Lake Resort is approximately 4 km farther on the right.

 

From MONTREAL (west end), Quebec (Option 1 – 90 minutes)

Take Autoroute 40 West towards Ottawa.  Autoroute 40 becomes 417 in Ontario. Take Exit #9 for Highway #17 West (Hawkesbury).  Continue west to Hawkesbury.  Turn right onto Cameron Street and continue all the way to the end at Main Street.  Turn left onto Main Street and continue to John Street.  Turn right onto John Street and follow signs for the Province of Quebec.  Take the bridge across the river and continue straight through until you meet Autoroute 50.  Take Autoroute 50 East to Exit 252 (Brownsburg/Chatham).  Exit and turn left onto Montee La Branche.  Continue to the town of Brownsburg.  At the stop sign in Brownsburg continue straight through onto Route 327 North.  Pass through the village of Pine Hill and the Carling Lake Resort is approximately 4 km farther on the right.

 

From MONTREAL (central), Quebec (Option 2 – 75 minutes)

Take Autoroute 15 North to Exit 35 for Autoroute 50 West (Mirabel Airport).  Take Autoroute 50 West to Exit 252 (Brownsburg/Chatham).  Exit and turn right onto Montee La Branche.  Continue to the town of Brownsburg.  At the stop sign in Brownsburg continue straight through onto Route 327 North.  Pass through the village of Pine Hill and the Carling Lake Resort is approximately 4 km farther on the right.
